Valentine’s Day at Osteria Morini–one Michael White’s new restaurants.  It was crowded and loud but the pasta was good.  Adam had the gramigna, a refined macaroni dish and I had the tortelli della nonna–a braised beef ravioli with a rich veal-stock, cinnamon tinged sauce though not much beef.

Birthday celebration at Nai Tapas, a newish tapas place located in the same space as my former favorite tapas restaurant, Xunta.  The tapas weren’t as good as Xunta’s but our waiter was super nice and gave us a discount on our food and drinks and there was a nice flamenco performance to boot.
