Dubrovnik, Day 3

We had basically seen everything we wanted to see in Dubrovnik on Day 1 so we spent the morning walking the streets of the Old City, ducking into shops here and there.  For lunch, we headed outside the City walls and went to a restaurant known for its slow roasted lamb, only to discover they didn’t serve the lamb or many of their menu items during lunch.  After lunch, we headed back to the Old City and went to Buza Bar II, known for its noteworthy ocean views.  The views were really nice, reminding me of those in Santorini, but shortly after we arrived there, it started raining so we had to take cover.

We made a return visit to D’Vino where we indulged in wine and their cheese platter before our flight to Pula.  The journey to Pula was a long one—requiring a flight to Zagreb, followed by a flight to Pula with a stopover in Zadar.  We arrived late in Pula late at night where we would be staying in another  apartment, this one located adjacent to the city’s famous amphitheater.
